Before you subscribe

Is there a free trial?
No — the free plan is the trial, and it's genuinely useful: CORE practice exams for chapters 1–5 with instant answer explanations, CORE flashcards for those chapters, and all study guides and cheat sheets, no card required. Study on it as long as you like. When you want the full CORE bank, timed Sim exams, Drill Mode, the label simulator, bookmarks, complete history, the leaderboard, and your state's category exams and flashcards where available, upgrade to Premium — you're charged right away, get everything instantly, and can cancel anytime.

Why is pricing per state?
The National CORE is shared by every state, but each state adds its own law addendum and specialty category exams on top. You only pay for what your state actually has — so a state with category exams costs a little more than a CORE-only state. Pick your state above to see your exact price.

Can I pause my subscription?
Business monthly plans: yes. The Branch Manager can pause the entire plan for 1, 2, or 3 months, up to twice per year. Team data, seats, and member invites all stay intact during the pause; billing resumes automatically at the date you pick.

Individual plans: not currently. You can cancel anytime — your account, score history, bookmarks, and weak-spots all stay with your account, so resubscribing later picks up where you left off.

How does the Business plan work?
A Branch Manager creates the account, picks how many seats they need, and pays one monthly invoice. From the Team Dashboard they invite techs and service managers by email — when those employees sign in with Google or Microsoft, they're auto-enrolled and get full Premium instantly. The Branch Manager can add or remove seats at any time. Business is available in states that have their category exams built out.

Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Individual subscribers can upgrade to Business and become a Branch Manager at any time. Business subscribers can downgrade to Individual or cancel — team members revert to free accounts and keep their study history.

What's your cancellation and refund policy?
Cancel anytime — through your account page, the Stripe billing portal, or by emailing us. You keep full access through the end of your paid period.

Initial refund windows on first-time purchases:
  • Business monthly: pro-rated refund within 7 days (if the team has done fewer than 5 exams)
  • Individual monthly: no refunds — the free plan (CORE practice, no card) is your evaluation period
Renewals are non-refundable. Billing errors and extended outages are always refundable. Full details on our terms page.
