When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your OAuth provider. If you sign in with an emailed one-time link or with an email address and password, we receive your email address; any password you set is hashed and stored by our authentication provider (Supabase) and is never visible to us in plain text. We also store your test scores, study progress, and any reviews you submit. If you subscribe to Premium, Stripe processes your payment — we do not store credit card numbers.
We use your information to provide and improve the service: tracking your exam history, displaying your scores on the leaderboard (using your display name only), managing your subscription, and sending occasional study reminders if you opt in. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your data is stored securely in Supabase (hosted on AWS). Payment data is handled by Stripe and subject to their privacy policy. Messages submitted through our contact form are handled on our own server and delivered to our support inbox by Resend, our email provider. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
We use browser localStorage to remember your dark mode preference, cache your subscription status, and store session data. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. For analytics we use Plausible, a privacy-friendly, cookieless service that collects only aggregate usage data — it does not track you across sites or collect personal information. Google Fonts are loaded from Google's CDN, which may set cookies according to Google's privacy policy.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data from your Account page or by emailing us. If you have an active paid subscription, or you are the billing owner of an active Business plan, cancel or transfer it first — we block deletion in that state so an account cannot be removed while it is still being billed. Upon deletion, we remove your test history, reviews, bookmarks, and subscription records.
