By accessing or using Pest Control Tests ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Pest Control Tests LLC, a Michigan limited liability company.
Pest Control Tests provides practice exam questions, flashcards, study guides, and related tools to help users prepare for pesticide applicator certification exams across the United States. Our materials are organized around the National CORE — the federal foundation common to applicators in every state — together with state-specific categories and addendums where available. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, any state department of agriculture or pesticide regulatory agency (including the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development), or any other government body. Our questions are for practice and study only and do not guarantee passage of any official exam.
Pest Control Tests covers multiple U.S. states. The National CORE reflects federal pesticide applicator standards and is the same for every state. State-specific license categories, addendums, fees, and exam administration vary by state and are set by each state's regulatory agency. Content for some states may be limited to the National CORE or still in development. Licensing requirements, categories, fees, and exam procedures change over time — you are responsible for verifying the current requirements directly with your state's pesticide regulatory agency before applying for or sitting any exam. We do not warrant that our materials reflect the current requirements of any particular state.
You may sign in using Google or Microsoft OAuth, an emailed one-time sign-in link, or an email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, including keeping any password you set confidential. You must provide accurate information and may not impersonate others. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Premium subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a monthly basis.
State-specific access. The free plan — practice for the National CORE at no cost, no card required — is available in every state. A Premium subscription unlocks the full National CORE and the study tools, and, where available, the categories and addendum for the state associated with your subscription. Premium access is specific to one state; unlocking another state's full content requires its own subscription.
Trials. Subscriptions are charged immediately on purchase; the free plan (free CORE practice, no card required) is how you evaluate the product before subscribing. From time to time we may offer a promotional trial to a business by offer code. Where a valid code is used at sign-up, a payment card is required, no charge is made during the trial period stated with the offer, the first charge is made automatically when the trial ends unless the plan is canceled before then, and canceling during the trial ends access at the trial's end and incurs no charge.
Cancellation. You may cancel any subscription at any time through your account page, the Stripe billing portal, or by emailing support@pestcontroltests.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access through that date.
Initial refund windows. First-time purchases qualify for the following money-back windows (renewals are non-refundable):
Always refundable. Regardless of the windows above, we will fully refund: billing errors (duplicate charges, charges after cancellation, incorrect amounts); confirmed fraud or unauthorized use of your payment method; or extended technical outages preventing site access for more than 24 hours.
Refund requests must be sent to support@pestcontroltests.com from the email address on the account. We reserve the right to deny refund requests where account activity indicates the service has been substantially used (for example, completing a large number of practice exams within the refund window).
Chargebacks. Disputing a charge through your card issuer without first contacting us may result in permanent suspension of your account and any associated business team. Please contact us first — we want to make it right.
Subscription prices are as displayed at the time of purchase. Like most subscription services, we may change subscription prices from time to time. If we change the price of your subscription, we will give you at least 30 days' advance notice by email and/or a notice on the site, and the new price will take effect at your next billing cycle after the notice period. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.
Locked and promotional pricing. Where we have expressly stated a locked or promotional price (for example, Early Supporter pricing), that price will be honored according to its stated terms for as long as your subscription remains continuously active. If the subscription is canceled or lapses, the lock ends and any new subscription is at then-current pricing.
What Early Supporter pricing includes. If you subscribe to a state’s CORE tier, or to its CORE + addendum tier, at a time when that state has no category exams published, your subscription is grandfathered. When that state’s addendum and category exams do launch, they are added to your plan at no additional cost, and your price does not increase for as long as your subscription remains continuously active. This applies only to the CORE and CORE + addendum tiers. Once a state has published category exams, that state’s grandfathering window is closed and its tiers are sold at their listed prices from that point on.
Taxes. Prices may be exclusive of applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout where required.
You may not: scrape, copy, or redistribute our question database; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or our systems; use the Service for any unlawful purpose; or submit false or misleading reviews. Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination.
Business Premium seats. Premium seats on Business plans are licensed per individual user, not as a pool to be rotated among multiple people. Each seat is intended to be assigned to one named technician at a time. We monitor seat-change patterns and reserve the right to contact accounts where activity suggests seat sharing, and to require additional seats to cover actual usage.
All content on this site — including questions, rationales, study guides, and design — is the property of Pest Control Tests LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or currency of our questions, study materials, or any state-specific information, or about your likelihood of passing any official exam in any state. Pesticide laws, license categories, fees, and exam content differ by state and change over time, and our materials may not reflect the most current requirements where you are licensed. You are solely responsible for confirming current requirements with your state's pesticide regulatory agency, and we are not responsible for any consequences resulting from reliance on our practice materials.
We may update these Terms from time to time, including as we add new states, content, and features. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and we may require you to review and accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the Service. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and Pest Control Tests LLC is organized under the laws of Michigan. This governs the agreement between you and us; it does not change the pesticide licensing requirements of your own state, which are set by your state's regulatory agency.
